|
Admission to the DSc program requires a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution, a minimum GPA of 3.00, and satisfactory scores on the GRE, which must have been taken within the last five years. Students who enter the program without a master's degree in information systems and without an undergraduate background in information systems will be required to complete a series of foundation courses prior to being admitted to the program. Knowledge in business fundamentals and information systems is recommended. International students must have an undergraduate (bachelor's) degree from a fully accredited institution that is the equivalent to a four-year undergraduate degree in the U.S. Applicants whose native language is not English and who have not obtained an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited American college or university must achieve a TOEFL score of 550 (paper-based test), 213 (computer-based test), 78 (Internet-based test), 6.8 IELTS, or pass the Michigan Test of English Language. International students are also required to provide verification of financial support for at least two years. Other factors (such as student maturity, references, or special expertise) also may be used to determine admission to the program. | |||||||||||||||||||
